Hello Mountain Bikers - Gravel Travel 2010 in Western Cape is here!


As you will know this race is fast becoming one of the Western Cape’s most popular mountain biking events. The event is again taking place at Diemersfontein Wine and Country Estate in Wellington, just 45 minutes from Cape Town on the 28th August 2010.

Participants are guaranteed a fun-filled day with mountain bike racing and wine tasting.

As promised we have expanded the single track for GT 2010 and are aiming to make this event your ultimate mountain bike experience for the year.

ENTRIES ARE LIMITED

Entries are limited to 1200 participants. Please make your entry online early to avoid disappointment. Numbers will be limited to make sure the single track experience is tops.

OUR FOCUS:
* The route, well balanced, exciting and challenging!
* Views / scenery, taking you through some of the best in the Boland!
* Single track, giving you as much of the best as possible!
* Participants will be limited to 1200.

ROUTES:
* 65km (9:00am start)
* 30km (9:30am start)
* 5km (9:45am start)

The event is administered by Dryland Event Management and entries processed online through Roag.

MORE ABOUT ROAG
ROAG is an online event administration system that aims to make the administration of events that much smoother for both the participant and the event organizer. You only need to enter your details on ROAG ONCE OFF ( for FREE ), and use only your ROAG number to enter races. This means no repetitive filling out of cumbersome entry forms!!

FREE STUFF
By becoming a ROAG member, you will receive a free Mr Price timing chip and number board for your mountain bike that you will use at any ROAG ADMINISTERED event you do. As a ROAG member you will also receive a monthly Newsletter which highlights Upcoming Events, and gives Report Backs on those events which have been completed. A nice way of keeping an eye out for events you’d like to do! ROAG also sends smaller emails (announcements) which act as reminders to enter races and keep you in the know of ’what’s happening’!
